USA beat Turkey 2-1 in World Cup friendly

The soccer team of the United States defeated the pair of Turkey 2-1 preparatory friendly match for the World Cup Brazil 2014, held at the Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey.

Fabian Johnson scored the first for Klinsmann 26 minutes of the first half after pass from Michael Bradley. Clint Dempsey scored the second for the Americans in 52 minutes. But then came the ghost of Landon Donovan, figure and standard of the U.S. team and the German coach chose to leave out, to note the lack of a goal scored from that suffered attacks Americans and also the defense showed some gross errors. That's when the match referee was charged a penalty of Ottoman and Selcuk marked the 90th minute off.

America will have the last friendly match on June 7 in Jacksonville (Florida) against Nigeria before embarking to Brazil, where played the grueling Group G, with Germany, Portugal and Ghana.
Turkey, meanwhile, despite having some stars that shine in their selection for their clubs as Arda Turan of origin, could not qualify for the World Cup in Brazil and now the Eurasian squad prepares to face successfully the next European Championship Qualifying 2016.
